I finally get some more pictures of my husband! YA! But what is this? Josh singing? And none of the guys are plugging their ears? I don't know if that should be allowed. They must really get bored.

Now there is a sweet ride! This must be the Afghan version of "Pimp My Ride"!

Congratulations, you have just slain Onyxia!

Ping Pong

Are my children deprived and are just desperate for something real?

Or do they just have an amazing amount of imagination?

You tell me......and yes those are play pans from her kitchen, and a play golf ball.

I recommend seeing the new Batman! Sorry Josh!

A SUMMER SURPRISE!!

I couldn't believe my eyes or my ears! I was cleaning in the basement when I hear my kids reading, Emery to Ethan not very surprising she reads allllll day long (little bookworm) but then I hear Ethan take his turn and read to Emery!!!! On his own!!! I didn't ask him, or threaten, or anything!!! Amazing!!! So I had to take a picture to prove that this was happening, and Ethan (as always) tried to duck out of the picture, but he was to slow.
He he he he.........

Will's Birthday is tomorrow, and I couldn't resist making this cake! He is a tractor nut! I am terrible at the frosting thing, but I think the idea is so cute. (Ya I could definitely work on my frosting ability!) Oh well, just don't look too close.

Booby Traps and Ethan

So I was sitting on the couch this morning reading a good book, when the doorbell rings. I of course assume it is the kids (they ring it alllllll day long and then run away) so I ignore the bell and continue reading. About 10 seconds later there is a knock (the kids never knock) so I get up and answer the door. I open the door and see the hose hanging in my face, standing there with the door open I am a little slow to react, water starts pouring from the hose and into the house. I close the door and start yelling for Ethan to turn it off. He comes in through the other door and asks me if I am mad. I try to keep a straight face (trying not to laugh) and say "Yes! But it WAS really funny and a very clever trap, don't do it again, you got water in the house." He jumps up and down whooping saying "Whoohoo! one of my traps worked!!" (he tries setting traps all the time) I now see him outside with a bucket and a bunch of bungee cords. Hmmmmmm......

Afghanistan and Utah

Josh made an interesting comment today, he said "I'm not on the other side of the world (speaking of Afghanistan) I just went back in time 500 years." Meaning that Afghanistan looks exactly like Utah probably did 500 years ago. So, for those of us who are so interested in what that crazy country looks like, just look around. But it's also kinda sad that there has been no progression, development or growth. Anyway just a cool thought I guess.
(Doesn't that mountain look vaguely familiar?)

We also spent some time with Josh's family on the 3rd.

I love this picture! Not only do we have every one of the 19 cousins,
we have the neighborhood cows!

Couldn't be happier or dirtier!
Nate and Seth had the exact same due date and were both born
a week early on the exact same day!

Josh's brother Abe took ALL the kids on a ride up Memorial Hill in his Ranger.

I swear these two could be brothers.

Will and Luke ....two cute little boys!

Midway is so beautiful. This is one of the amazing views from my in-laws house.

New Deck!!

Okay so remember the before picture? Yuck! Small and broken.
Paint pealing and closed in.
Here is a couple of during pictures.

And the amazing Dad who can build anything!
TA DA! Twice as big and I LOVE IT!

Shady and open!
I just need some new furniture for it now. :(

Happy 4th of July!

Well I hope everyone had a happy 4th of July! Ours was a little stressful but we had a little bit of fun too!! Hey, at least our deck is done! Whoot!!

We had our own little firework show with my brother, sister and their families!

I think the kids had more fun just goofing around past their bed time, than they did watching the fireworks!

A little loud for Will, but he loved it and wanted to do it again today!
