Will's on vacation

So this last week Will has been a total BEAR!!! He wakes up in the morning and yells, stomps his feet saying he is NOT going to school, NOT eating breakfast, NOT getting dressed. Then when he comes home from school he is NOT eating lunch, NOT putting his coat away.....and so on and so forth....until after much screaming, crying, wailing, and gnashing of teeth, he is sound asleep. Then in the morning.....we start all over again.

This morning, I asked him why he was such a BEAR. And where my sweet Will was. He said (In a very serious voice)

"Mom, sometimes Will needs a vacation."

I can sew! Who knew?

Josh and I got called to be "Tribal Leaders" for Youth Conference this year. Instead of trek, they are doing a Book of Mormon re-enactment. They asked us to make Book of Mormon-ish/tribal wear. I had no idea what I was doing. But I came up with a simple tunic that actually turned not to shabby.
And since I had my sewing machine out (and the dust blown off it) I decided to make a laundry hamper. I copied the one I had previously had and loved but it got destroyed. I made it out of an old blanket I got from the hospital when Nate broke his arm, and pvc pipes. Super easy!!
But for all you REAL sewers out there, don't look too close :)

Slacking

So it's been a very long time, and yes I've been slacking.

Nate got the school award. Whoot!!
He also had a little program at school. (again) Whoot!

He is such a sweet kid and so dang smart it's scary!

And Will lost his tooth! I love it when kids have missing teeth (especially the top front ones they are so dang cute)
